Replacing air con pipe - any advice?

Hello, I'm about to replace a couple of air con hoses going from the compressor to the condenser. I will be getting the refrigerant drained by my local specialist but I will do the job as it involves most of the front of the car to be removed.

I have bought new o rings to go with the new hoses but was wondering if anyone has any other ideas or experience? Namely:

Should I put loctite around the bolts?
Should I replace the bolts also?
I can't find torque settings anywhere - not sure what to do here,

The car is a passat b5.5

Thanks very much
