    I'm confused why civilians are conducting what amounts to a criminal investigation? :huh:

    Personally, I would be reporting this to the Police, and letting them investigate the whole thing. Isn't there a danger of evidence being tampered with here?

    It all feels very iffy to me.

    I agree with the above. Surely the disciplinary is a minor issue in this. What is concerning is the fact that -obviously assuming you are telling the whole truth as this is a forum and can only go by what you say- someone has stolen your card details, can relate this card with you as a person, and can relate you as a person with your address. This means that it is not some random fraud taking place but more than obviously someone who knows you, or is at least close enough to be able to have done all this.

    Surely you must be much angrier with that person and worried about what they are doing to you than your job who is only doing what can be expected in light of the evidence they have gathered. If I were you, I would certainly be starting my own investigation on this as if the facts are supporting that it is someone who knows you, it can't 100s of suspects.
