I have a very cute but very greedy cat, she needs to watch her weight. I feed her at set times, set amounts - given the chance she will completely overeat.
We have a sheltered housing development by my house, no pets allowed. I know from speaking to the residents that she likes to hang out in their communal garden and I know they like to watch her - she's white, fluffy and a very friendly so she gets a lot of attention. Previously she's only been gone for 1/2 an hour to an hour and tends to come back when I call her, today she was gone for 4 hours.
I have a very strong feeling someone is feeding her over there, if I let her out of my gate she bolts over there. She has half a pouch of wet food in the morning and the last couple of days after letting her in she has not touched it, as if she has stuffed herself so full she can't eat any more - she still loves the food as she will eat it if she has been inside my house for a number of hours.
I don't want to stop letting her out as she loves it and the exercise does her good but I feel I need to be monitoring what she eats. She's a very much loved family pet and I don't want her being poached by someone else.
Has anyone got any good advice?

Alas, there. Problem is while you do try and keep your pu55y happy and fed, she is a mischievous little piece of grass and will hunt and forage for more. Our lion, Raffles, does the same as well. Most days we just cast a glimpse of him going over the wall.
We use the treat sticks to keep him in tow, a packet of seven, but even that now is a battle between getting the stick out of the packet before he gets in himself.
Good luck.0 -
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

That is great, thank you ! I will buy it to give it a try but I worry that she has such a furry ruff that it will not show.
Shame I can't put a t-shirt on her with it spelled out.0 -
Good luck with that tag. Raffles tosses his collar at the first choke!0

I'd keep her in a day or two as well and just go out with her for her exercize.
If its sheltered housing you could have a word with the warden and ask them to mention it to the residents as well.0
