A hose pipe or bucket(s) of water, a yard brush with bristles that won't damage the decking, a suitable cleaning product and lots of energy.0

Cleaning decking without a pressure washer
Is bloody hard work!
I'd be tempted to hire one for a day, not MSE at all but your back muscles will thank you.Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -
I used a yard brush, several buckets with flash and clean water to rinse and a mop to lift the dirty water to start again. This was for a balcony and it took several hours and was hard work.0

And would you do it again ??
OP
Get a pressure washer, or tell us why you seem dead set against one.0 -
There is nothing wrong with a few hours hard work.
Modern life has so many labour saving devices that we endanger our health by not exercising our bodies enough.
PS: I got my valet to type this as it was too much effort to type it myself.0
