Royal Mail Signed Delivery - Signed for but not received

Hi all,

I recently had some birthday cards sent to me via Royal Mail Signed delivery, however I have yet to receive them.

Now the cards have been signed for and I have a picture of the signature from the website (which is basically a scribble) and the printed name is my surname but it wasn't me who signed for them.

Royal Mail are certain that it was delivered to the right building and that they've "done all they can do".

Is there anything I can do apart from giving up and accepting that they're gone? There was cash inside the cards which I know isn't covered but I would like to make some attempt to find out what happened.

Thanks

Where do you live i.e flats?, could a neighbour of signed for them and just not brought them round yet?

If RM have what they think is your signature can't see them being that helpful tbh.

Why do need your birthday cards signing for? please don't tell us you having cash sent in the post.

I've sent cash through the post on many occasions, but this always goes standard 1st or 2nd class and has never failed to arrive.
Something that looks and feels like a birthday card that is signed for would probably attract far more interest than an unsigned for one.

You could try speaking to your postie? He/she might remember who and where they were signed for?
