Quick one - Defaults and Debt Collection Companies

Just a quick one guys, here's the story:

- Didn't pay my Orange bill due to a disagreement (I know, very stupid!). Still disputing the issue.
- Debt passed to their collectors
- On CheckMyFile it's showing as the following:

Balance £144 (Both Callcredit and Equifax, however Equifax report the account as closed)
Status (Callcredit) - The status of the account is unknown. The payment status has been reported as in default.
Status (Equifax) - A notice of default has been served. This usually arises from non-payment.

My question is, will the default still be marked as 'Satisfied' when I pay the debt collection company? I think it's Moorcroft. :)

Thanks
Mat
