I would follow the exact cancellation procedure, if it says to write, then WRITE. Do not email, fax, carrier pigeon etc.0

it only says to write for a refund but no money has left my account so they said i dont have to write as i dont need a refund0

Post the name of the broker site here if you can, it helps these threads show up as warnings to others when (if) people research the broker name before clicking the apply button0

They can still take the money. Don't rely on what they have said.
Ask your bank to close your account and open another. It's the only way of being sure.
