Or they might have any number of the same item? (assuming the item is not unique)
The item number would reveal much if you wish to post it.

The exact same thing happened to me!! I had bid on a mobile phone..same scenario as you and then it was re-listed same day. I was mad! I was new to Ebay at the time and emailed seller for explanation..nothing. Emailed Ebay, they said there was nothing they could do and there was no proof they had multiple IDs ARGGGGHHH! Makes a mockery of Ebay. Ebay is only as good as the honest people buying and sellingI have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

Hope it wasn't one of my items then as I routinely list on one evening a week and when that auction finishes immediately list an identical item.
I often have 5 or 6 of the same item and depending on the end price of the item I will either offer a second chance offer to the next highest bidder, or if the auction finished at only a 'good' price rather than a 'great' price I just hit the 'relist same item' button and list the second one. If you search my auctions you will see I have listed several identical items every week for a month.

Am i being thick here? I don't understand your point apart from what the others have already covered. I can sell dozens of the same item and will limit supply as and when I feel I need to. Finishing at different times of day.
I really do fail to get this problem!!0 -

I am new to Ebay,maybe I wasn`t being clear enough,it was for clothes,the
item had a small fault,I was outbid then it appeared on a 7 day listing same
description same fault!!!!!!!
Ebay were not interested said they were sorry they didn`t inform me
sooner. WOW I feel so humble.:T Hail Hail :T0 -
Ah Shill bidder by the looks! Check the bidders against the seller(s) ID and see if you can spot a pattern. Just remember it will have cost the seller to shill bid and it soon becomes economically unviable. Bid again and bid less than the last time you might spoof the seller into buying it themselves again.
Much more satisfying than getting the standard EBay reply. Don't get mean just get even!!!0 -

Having read this post and the original post again..... (especially the it appeared on a 7 day listing same description same fault part)..... Are you talking about two seperate selling ID's listing the same item, and what would be a seperate shill bidding ID?
The item number/s would reveal much if you wish to post it. :cool:The MSE Dictionary
