Mortgage application and signing up to credit rating websites.

Hi everyone,
I'm about to have credit checks run on me and my partner, in order to get a mortgage.
I'd like to check my own ratings online, just in case there is anything wrong. Would signing up to Noddle and Equifax add a new footprint on my credit history? Would that reflect badly on me? I am already signed up to Experien.
Thank you!

No. Checking your own credit report leaves no footprint.0

The Noddle site will only show you active accounts, for some reason settled accounts do not show. You will do much better to order a report directly from Call Credit. Also, if you are using Experian's CreditExpert, add each address you have lived at in the last 6 years on the 'My Details' bit, to ensure you are seeing the same level of information your mortgagee will view. Best of luck!0

Noodle does show closed\settled accounts on my account. Go to financial account info and near the top right of the page click 'closed accounts' to swap from the default page of open accounts.0

Potential lenders won't use the ratings you see. They will score you themselves against their their own criteria.0

Ah great thanks. I wondered where my loans went. I should come on here more often
