Wonder if this checks any internal blacklist or not?

Was allegedly banned from NW accounts due to activities of my Ex, but 2 weeks after they allowed me to upgrade my account to a Black account (I didnt receive the letter saying I was banned) but then closed all my accounts.

Curious to know if they ever did actually ban me/ how long for without wasting an actual application/ cra search etc to find out

This has been around for a while now (I think when they launched their new credit card) and you can also do the same for loans.
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

It must do - I've just run it and it said "sorry etc etc" - I get credit from everyone else except Amex - both Amex and NW were included in my IVA about ten years ago.
Never argue with an idiot. Especially not this idiot because I'm always right anyway.

Gives me a "good chance" using my new address and an 8/10 chance using my old address on the Clear Rate Platinum

Unfortunately that doesnt really help me to guess if either they dont check black listing or if they didnt actually black list me

It gives me a "high chance" so hooray. But a fee and no cashback? I don't think it's for me...

Thanks for pointing this out though; it's good to know that RBS aren't holding against me the fact I took their £2k graduate overdraft and gave it to TSB!
