Thanks for this Chris. I will have a good look through.

We dog mums (and dads!) are always looking for good dog friendly places to take our dogs so your link will be really helpful.

Whitby in Yorkshire is a dog family's dream vacation ! Most of the pubs allow dogs in , as well as quite a few bars/cafes too.

The pie shop is great, lovely pies and a bowl of water for your dog under the table !

    we booked with these

Agreed Whitby is hugely dog friendly, Rustyboy do you mean the pie n mash shop - that is fantastic but small (there were 2 Alsatian dogs in there and it was a bit of a squeeze).

Keswick in the Lakes is also very dog friendly.

There are various dog friendly holiday websites, i have used hoseasons and dogs trust myself.

Yes the pie and mash shop is the one I meant.

The pub on the bridge was great too. Had a fine old time with dogs playing in the place, by the fireplace. Quite a few good nights there. Only thing was they don't let dogs on part of the beach at certain times of year AFAIK.
