Spice up your life at the North East Chilli Festival, which is returning for the third time to Seaton Delaval Hall this summer. On 5th–6th July the front lawns will once again see the UK's finest street food traders serving up the most delicious and diverse food from around the world. Bringing together the finest UK chilli producers and the tastiest local produce, the market area offers all levels of heat – from mild to wild. With a real ale bar from Wylam Brewery, plus a Pimms and Cocktail bar, there's plenty to cool your mouth down after one too many spicy samples. There's also entertainment, DJs, bands, contortionists and the now famous chilli eating competition.
