Close coupled toilet cistern leak

i have just had a close coupled toilet installed and it's leaking from the bottom of the cistern onto the back of the toilet bowl. It's only a very small amount; I didn't notice at first.
I don't know if I should get the plumber to come back or just leave it. It doesn't bother me but I'm worried if I leave it something (?) will rust or be damaged. Grateful for any advice.

If you are on a meter it will cost you money.
I would call the plumber back anyway.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
Hi
I would call the plumber back, it sounds like the washer between the cistern and toilet is not seated correctly. OK it will not do damage but you do not want to be mopping up small puddles of water for the next xyz years :0)0 -
Don't leave it as it is unlikely to get better by itself and will possibly get worse. Even a small amount of water is a lot of water over time.auntymabel wrote: »i have just had a close coupled toilet installed and it's leaking from the bottom of the cistern onto the back of the toilet bowl. Is it the join where the cistern meets the bowl, or the joint where the incoming water pipe enters the cistern that is leaking? The latter is a bit easier to fix than the former although in either case it is down to the installer plumber to sort it out.
Have you paid for the job yet?

Thanks for your replies. It's where the cistern meets the bowl and yes, I have paid but I'm going to follow the advice and call the plumber back.'Yaze whit yeh hive an ye'll niver wahnt'
