Your day will start with an introduction over teas, coffees and pastries in our dining room before moving up to the cookery school to meet Michel. As one of only 12 guests, you will spend the day with Michel as he demonstrates and then guides you through three dishes. You will recreate each dish at your individual cooking station whilst receiving tips and support from Michel throughout the day. Michel will join you for your lunch break and at the end of the day when you'll sit down and enjoy your culinary creations with matching wines.

Terms & Conditions

1. Prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 and over excluding Lakeland employees, Cactus Kitchens employees, their agents, families or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
2. Entries will be accepted from 9am Thursday 19th June to 8.59am Thursday 26th June 2014 BST.
3. Entry is by the following methods:
   1. at Lakeland.co.uk or by telephone
   2. in any Lakeland store
   3. send your name and telephone number to 'Free Prize Draw, Lakeland, Alexandra Buildings, Windermere, Cumbria LA23 1BQ. Entries will be entered in the week they are received by Lakeland and no correspondence will be entered into
   4. visit lakeland.co.uk/50years and fill in the free prize draw form (no purchase necessary).Please note: winners will be notified using the contact details supplied on entry.
4. Third party, electronic and bulk entries will not be accepted.
5. Lakeland takes no responsibility for entries which are lost, delayed or corrupt. Illegible, incomplete or late entries will be disqualified.
6. The prizes are as follows:
   1. First prize: A 'Michel Roux Jr Premier' Experience and a signed copy of The French Kitchen book
   2. Second prize: A 'Cooking The Roux Way' Experience and a signed copy of The French Kitchen book
   3. Third prize: two prizes of a 'Knife Skills – The Roux Way' Experience and a Michel Roux Jr Global Usuba Knife.
7. There are no alternative prizes or cash alternatives.
8. Prizes cannot be sold for monetary gain. If a prize is sold to a third party, that prize will be deemed as void.
9. Winners will be selected by Lakeland no later than two weeks after the closing date.
10. Cactus Kitchens will contact the winners to arrange a suitable date for their experience.
11. All prizes to be used by June 30th 2015.
12. Transport and accommodation are not included and should be arranged by the winners.
13. Once booked and confirmed with Cactus Kitchens, experience dates cannot be altered.
14. To claim their prize, winners must accept by telephone, letter or email within 60 days of being notified or prizes will be re-drawn.
15. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. The winners' names and counties will be available on request by sending your details to the promoter's address (below) and marking it: 'Lakeland 50th Anniversary Michel Roux Jr Prize' (free prize draw 2014).
17. Winners may be required to take part in publicity.
