Npower-useless.

Hi, I made one of my biggest mistakes last Oct when I switched from E,on over to npower.
Originally it all looked like it was going well, switch over dates etc seemed fine. (28th Oct)
I gave both E,on & npower readings on that date.

Then the problems started, a couple of months in they still had not switched over the gas, I dont know why?
I started to really worry when we did not receive any billing from npower & telephoned mid May to query this.
I was informed that they (npower) were in dispute with E,on over Electric meter readings because E,on had not supplied. Plus a 3rd & 4th party are involved in the switch-over process! National Grid??
I contacted E,on & it transpired it was npower who were wrong.
Whilst on the phone the advisor took my readings & told me a bill would be generated in a cpl of days.
Adviced online that the bill would be ready 9th June, I rang npower on the 13th asking where it was as I can not find it on my account.
My account has been 'locked' because of this dispute.... over 8 months ago!... & it had been referred to their locking dept!
I was £420 in credit because of paying DD's.
When I asked to spk to the complaints dept. I was told that 'It is closed for refurbishment' rofl! :rotfl:
Eventually told the bill had been generated & a gesture of goodwill the £53 outstanding would be wiped off my account.
Today I have looked again & only the bill period between March & May was shown. £111, so where is the rest of my money?
Eventually they posted the previous bill, after again speaking to another agent.

Guess what......... Im Off!!!

I just hope that EnergyExtra delivers a better service now.
I shall post on the switching process, altho im expecting trouble from npower on that as well!!!
