    I'm considering other Lenovo laptops, like the G500 & G505s, though there seem to be some common issues with those too.


    I thought the newer HP 15 range didn't have the same overheating problems...? Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd like to think they would have done something about it by now as it was so notorious an issue! I've just spotted this one that sounds quite good compared to the Curry's version, just at £10 more : Intel Core i3-3217U, 1.8GHz, 6GB RAM, 1TB HDD.

    I'm sure you know but the G500 (above) is cheaper and better specced. (CPU that is)
