If you're willing to go DIY, easily, if you're after a package, probably not.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

I have saved a fortune by booking direct with hotel and separate flights. We are going to San Miguel Hotel Ibiza and it is costing around £3100 for 3 adults and a 15 year old for 2 weeks all inclusive. I could PM you the email address if you liked the look of it. I can be found on Firstchoice website. Rooms show only up to 4 people but they have bigger rooms available if you book direct.0

if you're thinking of the last 2 weeks of august, and you can fly from scottish airports, they will be a lot cheaper than england/wales, because scottish school holidays will be over by then. So go to kayak and skyscanner to get starting prices for your flights, then book them with the flight operator direct.
Then for accommodation try travelrepublic, booking.com, tripadvisor etc etc. resorthoppa etc for transfers.
if you can use scottish airports from mid-august, you might get something under your budget, as a package, if you start with holidayhypermarket, then if you see a price that looks good, go to the package company themselves and see what comes up.
I'm away for just over 2 weeks this summer, we have paid premium price for everything (just booked it last week) and its costing us around £700 each for Turkey, but over £600 each of that is flights (as we're doing internal flights and visiting 3 different places in Turkey). Flights to one Turkish resort from the UK should be no more than £400 each return, including luggage, even at this late date.
You could go self catering (lots of 2-bed aparts in the Antalya and Altinkum areas) in August for around £25 total per night.
eta - i see from another recent post of yours that you want to go 24th august - if you can go for a week from 25th august, and from glasgow, holidayhypermarket are coming up with some good deals for the Bodrum area for your family group, at around £350 each for the week, including flights, apartment and luggage.0 -

Hi,
Have you checked Jet2Holidays.com?
Myself and my fiancee have been checking this regularly over the last few weeks and prices have been going up and down.
However, last night they were at their lowest, and they also brought out a discount code bringing £40 off per person (Use code SAVE40 at checkout)
So, last night due to the discount, we were able to get 7 days All inclusive at the 5* Golden Rock Beach Hotel in Marmaris for £479 each, leaving 27th August. Much cheaper than any other site i've seen, and in addition you also get 22kg luggage as well as 10kg hand luggage.
Might be worth checking, as they also have some deals with free child places.0 -
There are loads of pretty cheap flights into Malaga from various regional airports even in August. As an example Birmingham to Malaga in southern Spain return for two weeks at the end of August is E120 per person There is three bed accomodation for £350 a week in the center of Nerja (beachside resort) or you can choose a villa anywhere in the costa del sol for £500 upwards. Owners direct and holiday lettings are good places to start to get a feel for what is available for what price. That still leaves you with lots of money for trips, food and suitcases!0

Book flights on your own and rent an apartment. Stock up on lots of frozen/supermarket food. Eat out just once a day. You will be able to comfortably get a holiday under £3k for all of you. There is more to life than increasing its speed.0
