How do these Scammers get my E-mail Address?

whenever i list any electrical items on Ebay Or Amazon the Scammers all seem to come out of the wood work, i don't mind so much receiving them through ask seller a question, but i actually get the queries through an E-mail address that i used to have registered to Ebay.
So how do they get the Address?
when they send through Ebay i usually just answer that all fraud is immediately reported to ebay, but today i got annoyed and in replay to this one :
HELLO SELLER, HONESTLY IT IS GREAT PRIVILEDGE TO TRANSACT A BUSINESS WITH YOU IN WHICH I KNOW IT WE MAKE THE BUSINESS VERY BOND MUTUAL I SELL ASSOCIATE ELETRONIC IN AFRICA AND I SEE THE ADVERT OF YOUR DISPLAY ON EBAY SCREEN AND I WANT TO MAKE IMMEDAITE PURCHASE FOR THE UNIT.I WILL LIKE TO KNOW THE QUATITY OF THE MECHADISE YOU HAVE FOR SALE AND THE TOTAL PRICE FOR EACH UNIT INCLUDING THE SHIPPING TO TO MY CLIENT IN AFRICA SO I WANT TO REMIND YOU THAT I WILL PAY YOU THRU CERTIFIED CHECK OR DIRECT MONEY ORDER SO ONCE THE CHECK HAS BEEN CLEAR SHIP THE PACKAGE OUT AND SEND ME BACK THE TRACKING NUMBER IF YOU AGREED TO MY TERM AND CONDITION MAIL ME BACK WITH YOUR DETAILS FOR IMMEDAITE PAYMENT AWAIT YOUR POSITIVE REPLY ASAP.....THANKS FOR CO-OPERATION.
