Refusing to take vouchers...?

    Actually, the transaction would be treated as prepaid income and accrued to the relevant accounting period.

    Their accounting system is irrelevant anyhow - otherwise based on that logic if their y/e is 5th April then any vouchers issued 4th April would meet the same fate.

    Well done, it's nice that the restaurant sorted it out, that was always their most sensible option IMO. They now have happy customers who can happily spread nice stories about them :)
