Your marriage in three words

I have been married for four years and find that everyday in my marriage can be emotional roller coaster .... Yesterday my marriage was calm, emotionally connected and communicative.
Today it's dry, boring and cumbersome.
I am wondering if this is just me or do the three words that describe my marriage become more positive more regularly....
