travel insurance extising medical condition

hello I wonder if anyone can help me I have two problems
First my partner has a prolapsed disk he has surgery but it was unsuccessful and is waiting for more surgery but this will happen after our holiday. Does anybody know of a travel insurance site that can insure him that doesn't cost over £300 like I am getting quotes for.
Second He is on a lot of medication which he will have to take with him. do I have to get a letter of confirmation from our doctor to say he is on all these medication and does it have to be translated into the language of the country I am traveling to.
we are traveling to Spain i have EHIC card,
I really need your help with this one people please help me.

I'm surprised you get a quote at all.

I had a successful microdiscectomy and my GP advised against travel for 6 weeks. I wouldn't have got travel insurance during that time.

Is he travelling against GP advice?

he has got the ok from the doctor had surgery when we travel in August it will be 16 weeks post surgery.
anybody know of any travel insurance sites I can try please?
