PPI reclaim from Debenhams

Hi. I took a debenhams store card in 1987. It was implied to me that I needed to take ppi in order to get card. It was then GE capital. Have just got snooty rejection letter from Santander. Does anyone know where I go from here as they were not regulated at that time. Many thanks

Unlikely to be snooty. More likely just to point out the reasons for the rejection.

In answer to your question, where do you go from here, you complain to Geworth and prove that you had no need of the PPI or it wouldn't pay out, and you send a copy of Snatanders rejection.
It is by no means assured, but you may get some redress.
