PPI on interest free purchases?

I've just remembered we bought our current suite of furniture about ten years ago. I also remember that the deal was: advertised purchase price split into 24 payments over two years, i.e. a 'zero interest deal'.
Now, am I naive in thinking that there could not possibly have been any hidden PPI in this situation..?

Strangers on the internet wont know if you had PPI, look at your statements or agreement, or call them.0

Or carry out a quick check; does the sum of the 24 payments you made equal the advertised purchase price? If the answer is 'yes', then there is nowhere to hide anything.0

How would it be hidden?
i.e. if you borrowed £x amount and paid back £x amount over 24 payments then where would this be hidden?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
