POPLA Code Invalid

Hi All,
I'm trying to submit my appeal through the POPLA website.
I checked the verification code at Parking Cowboys and it appears to be valid, but when submitting my appeal on POPLA I get the following error:
"Verification number invalid - please re-enter the code. If it is not recognised please contact the operator who issued you with the verification code."
Now I appreciate I should follow the advice and go back to Excel, but could there be an issue with POPLA website given the code checked seems to recognise it on Parking Cowboys?

If Parking Cowboys says it's valid it probably is. Try a different browser (this has worked for others). Or send your appeal by snail mail.Je suis Charlie.0

As bazster said some browsers seem to struggle with POPLA. If changing browser doesn't work then try clearing your cookies and trying again.0

Called POPLA. They confirmed the number was valid, but couldn't understand why it wasn't working. They went and spoke to someone in their IT team, came back and it was working.
She couldn't explain it, but working now regardless.
Thanks.0 -
Perhaps your call has finally got them to fix the cross-browser compatibility problem that has plagued them since they went live!Je suis Charlie.0

Good luck with appeal. We trust you have used a tired and tested template from the Newbie thread and are no appealing on mitigating circumstances.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0

I know the appeal templates have been around a while, but I'd hardly call them "tired".

Yeah, dont worry. Appeal letter was from standard template for Peel Centre (I know, I shouldn't mention their name out loud) with a further point added based on their general incompetence (advice received from forum members first).0
