    I get the impression from your question that honesty is seen as a weakness by you, but it'd genuinely not, it's one of the most important things that a person can have.

    Of course, we all know city traders are renowned for the honesty. Come on.

    What environment and industry do you work in?


    Ignorance is no defence of the law. If you work in care and a senior member of staff is breaking procedure and abusing residents, then you must report it. Not to report makes you just as guilty as you have a chance to stop it.


    If you work in construction and someone dies because this senior member of staff is breaking procedure, could you live with yourself knowing that if you only reported it you could have saved a life?


    Then again if its a tick-for-tack internal quality procedure. Then perhaps its not too bigger a deal? Perhaps the procedure needs updating?

    Is nothing to do with health and safety. Its not that big a deal. It just some procedural thing that needs to be done a certain way that is being fudged.
