Wife and her sister are not happy bunnies, they have tickets for tuesday.I can certainly understand the residents point regarding traffic chaos etc and 5 nights in a row seems to be excessive. The promoters tried to kill the golden goose.
On the other hand it is going to disappoint many thousands of ticket holders through no fault of their own and lose a tremendous amount of money which would have been spent in hotels, shops and restaurants etc.0 -
Was never the right place to hold such an event considering the demand. should have had it out in slane or phoenix park or something like that....0

Rumours that the entire gig may be cancelled http://www.her.ie/entertainment/rumour-has-it-that-all-five-garth-brooks-concerts-may-be-cancelled/0

Was just thinking it will be a real kick in the nuts for anyone who paid sky high prices to ticket touts only to find the concerts cancelled and they get a refund of face value..........0

or maybe nothing at all, if the tickets were paid for by card, the refund goes to the card holder who paid for them.0 -

This is something I'd expect my child to do, all or nothing. Seems Garth/Aiken promotions are used to getting their own way.
Hope Dublin council stand by their decision!0 -

If they don't then legal action by the residents will ensue...0
