Hi Guys
I am hoping you are able to help me. I am in credit with British Gas believe it or not...so my question to you all is do I leave them both in credit or do I ask for a refund?

    Up to you.

If you get a refund then expect them to increase your monthly payments.

Most people should be coming into credit during the summer in readiness for the large winter consumption period.

Most people will be in credit now, it's how the system works.

Distributing your payments across the year so that you don't get tiny bills in summer and huge bills in winter.

Ask for a refund if you are in credit at the end of the winter period, now is not the time.

Depends on how much it is, and whether you need the money or not. Winter's a coming when usage goes up.
