Think that's company I used to have mine from our trust changed companies when their contract was up for tender think these voucher companies are big business and they didn't renew was pleased as frequent late payment of vouchers especially over Xmas period.0

Could be a breakdown in communication between Computershare and payroll. Computershare will give payroll instructions based on what you have told them, payroll could come back to amend these if the rules don't allow it.
It happens when there is a basic earnings assessment - payroll would do this and not computershare which could result in the instruction being amended.
Wait and see what happens.0 -
Eventually someone in hr sent me my agreement between me them n vouchers company first time I have ever seen it!!
Apparently I was made aware of terms and conditions when signed up erm nope hr gave me vouchers company number I rang said how much n when to start hr had nothing to do with it. Then they changed company they used we got a letter with a pamphlet about new company.
Least I have agreement now
What will be will be
My manager was shocked and said so basically second time parents receive less mat pay than first time parents despite being on same salary point because second time parent chose to have some salary as vouchers she thinks it's unfair but acknowledges nothing we can do as no law around vouchers as such.0 -

You're saving up to £77in tax and NI a month with these vouchers though and your employer has to continue providing them above SMP. Bit much to expect your salary to be calculated without the sacrifice as well!Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -

The problem arises with OMP calculations, not SMP.
If OMP is calculated post-sacrifice and then deductions for vouchers are made from OMP, you end up paying for the vouchers twice (or one-and-a-bit times depending on the OMP level). Once when OMP is calculated and then again when the vouchers are deducted from OMP.
Presumably salary sacrifice pensions for those employers with awkward rules are also paid for more than once - first with the OMP calculation and then again when it is deducted from OMP.
For SMP, the only way that can be calculated is on post-sacrifice pay but that doesn't matter because the vouchers are then not deducted from the SMP.0 -
Exactly rpc it's the occupational mat pay I am talking about.0

I don't know much about vouchers but someone was saying at work if they stopped their vouchers and restarted they wouldn't get as good deal when reinstated as they would be classed as new person and the rate isn't as good or something than if you joined the scheme a year or so ago. Not sure if it's right though0

Higher tax payers got their amount reduced in 2011/12 cannot remember date they could still claim 243 if already signed up but if new to scheme it reduced so perhaps that's what they mean.0 -
Computershare have advised that they have put an end date on my voucher deductions (end of July) therefore I will only recieve vouchers for one more month (July's pay).
They said that if I would like to reinstate them (which I would) then I just need to log into the account online and amend the order within my payroll deadline.0
