It's not necessarily illegal, but you have to answer the questions truthfully and read the assumptions carefully. If they ask you who is the main driver (ie the person who drives it most frequently) then you have to tell them that. If they ask who is the owner/registered keeper, then you have to tell them that as well. The main driver and the registered keeper are not necessarily the same person.0

Unfortunately your terms arent accurate.
If you mean that your parents are the owners/ registered keeper but you are the policyholder then this absolutely fine as long as you declare who the owner/ keeper is (almost no insurer has issues with kids insuring their parents car).
Some insurers have issues when the owner/keeper is more distant to the policyholders but that just is a declined quote assuming you declare things correctly.
The issue which arises with kids and parents is where the PH is the parent and the kid is a named driver when in reality its the kid that is the main driver of the vehicle. If this isnt declared, which normally isnt possible on websites, then its known as fronting and is a form of fraud. Obviously fraud is illegal, as would intentionally answering any questions incorrectly.0 -
that's ok then because he told me that's illegal and called fronting or something.
ive always answered all questions correctly so should be ok with that.
