Cancelled Car insurance refund

We cancelled a policy with Bewise in March and were told how much would be refunded and it could take up to 60 days due to waiting on the Insurance Co.
Following numerous phone calls we still haven't received our refund.
Has anyone had a similar experience or can anyone suggest ways to expedite what is now a late debt?

Treat it like any other unpaid debt.

Letter before action followed by MCOL if they ignore it.
