Hi all, husband and myself will have 50k at the end of June, and need some advise on where to invest it until such time as we are ready to put it towards a house, husband is now living abroad and I will be joining him later and wondered if that helped or hindered. Thanks for any help

Do you want to buy here or abroad? And if abroad, do you want to do anything to hedge currency risk?0

We are going to buy here at some point then rent it out until we eventually move back, just not sure how to invest the money until such time0

What is the timescale until you buy?
It sounds like you're talking about saving, rather investing - in which case have a read around the forum about current accounts paying decent interest.
A Santander 123 account each might be the simplest (if not the absolutely best interest paying) option, but open them before you leave the UK.
