Insurance for learner
Can anyone give me a rough idea how much I might pay for this? Both over 25, and car valued around £3K.
Can get stand alone quote for £75ish per month, just wondering how much it would cost as an add on to the driver's insurance.
Thanks

Once you have passed it is likely still to be cheapest to be a named driver on the policy, though you have to be careful: if it is really your car for your use you should declare that you are the main driver. Not doing so is "fronting" and you can end up uninsured because of it.
However, it is often cheaper as a newly qualified driver to have another qualified driver on the car insurance too as a named driver.0 -
I could insure my daughter on her own car as a learner for £400. But after passing her test the premium shot up a huge amount.
It was a learner policy so you couldnt add other drivers.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
