Hitachi Capital and B&Q

I need some advise on a new loan we have taken out with Hitachi Capital.
We are having a new kitchen supplied and installed by B&Q, all well and good, spec and price agreed. As B&Q, via hitachi capital were offering 4 years interest free with a 20% deposit, we decided to use their finance.
We signed the finance documents on 27th May 2014. We asked at the time when the install would take place and we were told between 4-6 weeks. Ok a bit longer then we thought, but its fine.
We subsequently have received notification from B&Q that the install will take place on 4th August.
so now we have a query over the repayments to Hitachi - we will now start paying for a kitchen (possibly 2 repayments) before the install will happen!
We've called both Hitachi and B&Q and both are saying that they cannot defer the payments until after the install
Is there anything that we can do? and is what they are saying correct?
How can we pay for something that we havent received or even happy with it?
Any advice please
Thanks

When were your installments due to begin?"Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... What does your contract say?"Facism arrives as your friend. When you sign up for the finance the paperwork states that the first payment will be taken the month after the finance agreement has been paid out. The advisor and/or design consultant should also tell you this too. I'm assuming you Esigned the agreement so it would have been there on screen for you to read too before signing. I know it's easy not to listen/skip bits as it's quite long but it is there.

I actually fail to see why you are worrying about what amounts to one repayment. If, eventually, you are unhappy with the Kitchen or it's installation then that is something separate you would take up with B&Q rather than the finance company.0 -

Correct! If something terrible happened that made you want a full refund (I sincerely hope that doesn't happen) then it would be B&Q that would facilitate the refund and not hitachi. Also if you don't need all of the items and need refunded or for some reason you get a partial refund as a goodwill gesture it will be from B&Q up to the value of your deposit, if it were more than the deposit you gave they would get in touch with hitachi and arrange payment of the outstanding amount.0 -
It's a problem with b and q so speak to them.
The delay is annoying and I'd push them for some sort of recompense, as the repayments starting before you've received the service you've paid for is anomalous.
I'd probably push for repayment of the installment by b and q until the fitting is complete. If nothing else that puts some pressure on them to progress the works, and a complaint to trading standards might be merited, or at least mentioned.0 -

Presumably the OP was more than happy with this arrangement even though the kitchen work might not have commenced until the 8th July (after six weeks)."Facism arrives as your friend. Every time I buy anything online I pay for it before I have it.
I don't really understand the problem here at all.0
