HPI Check Help. NMR and DVLA Mileage Different

Hi there,

I've just performed a HPI Check on a vehicle I put a deposit down on on Saturday

It alerted me of outstanding finance on the car, which I believe just to be Asset Insurance from the dealer (still unsure how I deal with this though).

It also flashed up with a mileage discrepancy.

Listed below is the mileage:

27/May/2010 NMR 12,000 12,000
27/May/2010 NMR 12,125 12,125
06/Mar/2014 NMR 36,105 36,105
07/Mar/2014 NMR 36,105 36,105
10/Mar/2014 DVLA 26,000 26,000

Obviously the DVLA one is 'wrong' by the trend of the mileage and is surprisingly lower. How has this occurred? And where do the sources of mileage come from?

Cheers,

Ben
