My Ebay account used for fraud!

Apparently my email has been used for fraud, or atleast thats what the email below would have me believe:
eBay Safeharbor Department Notice
Fraud Alert ID : 00626654
Dear eBay member,
You have received this email because you or someone else had used your identity to make false purchases on eBay. For security reasons, we are required to open an investigation on this matter. We treat online fraud seriously and all cases which cannot be resolved between eBay and the other involved party are forwarded for further investigations to the proper authorities. To speed up this process, you are required to verify your personal information against the eBay account registration data we have on file by following the link below.

Please save this fraud alert id for your reference.

Sounds like a scam email to me. From addresses can be spoofed easily enough. They want you to go to their web site and type in your account details.
I tried a Whois on the domain name scgi.ebay.com but can't find a record of it.
Pass the email on to Ebay to check if it is real, but I doubt it.0 -
Yes it's a scam. Whatever you do, don't type in your ID and password on the link they sent you. E-bay don't ask for personal info either (like your CC number) in an e-mail. Whoever sent this mail is relying on you to provide them with info so they can use it for fraud.Bulletproof0

As you've learnt, it's a scam.
ebay never write to you without your name, the spelling generally and poor grammar give it away as well.0
