How can anyone here help you? You've not said what terms you agreed to or even what claims company you used.

Refer to the agreement and pay the company the money you agreed you would, otherwise get your suit cleaned & pressed ...
  • it was 3 years ago and i no longer have the terms - but my issue is they never reclaimed the money ?

Their terms would no doubt say that you need to pay them for any successful PPI claim, regardless of who takes the credit for it.

You need to speak to them and arrange repayment. Or at least ask for a copy of the terms so you can check that the claim is valid.
  • I agree with zx81, they will have a copy of the terms you agreed. ask for a copy and go from there.
    If it helped, say thanks...

CMCs dont do anything anyway. Just send in a letter and sit back and wait.

Ask them for a copy of the contract. If they can supply a signed copy, you are likely to be stuffed.

This problem appears so regularly, but the answer is always the same. Anyone having second thoughts about using a Claims Company should always formally cancel the CMC's contract before proceeding alone. The amount of time which has passed is irrelevant.

They (irregularly) check with Banks they have sent complaints to on behalf of clients.
