New roof on mid terrace house

The bloke next door has just redone his roof, we're both mid terraced.

He has done the side joining to the other neighbour overlapping and my side cut straight down the middle, I don't mind this but just wondering if it will cause me any problems?

I have asked him about it and he said he has put 'special' waterproofing down but obviously this can only be on his side as he didn't take my tiles off. Will water get in the gap and leak?

He is a roofer so I'd like to think he has done it ok but it looks to me like it's not sealed or anything?

Any advice would be appreciated. :)
If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in :D
