it was 2 catalogue debts, and 2 utility debts (last bill of old supplier 1 for gas 1 for electric) . total of just under £2000.. i managed to rework my budget to free up an extra £20 a month into dmp.
  • Thanks for the update.

I'm hoping they don't class PDLs different. Did you tell them straight away or did some time pass? I have been afraid to tell them for past 3 months.
  • I've also told them that if they could do it I could pay more into my DMP as won't have to pay each sep. That will then mean my existing creditors don't loose and also after paying off PDL will direct more funds to them.

How long did it take them to come back to you? I'm still waiting

Good for you, you've done the right thing and I hope you get a response soon. Whatever the outcome you are going to be in a better position in the long run. Keep us posted and now put the DMP worries aside for now :)

i rang then after posting on here for some advice on what to do. the guy was great took all details of new debts, went through budget to free up some extra to pay new creditors (they want a minimun of £5 per new creditor) so i freed up £20. changed direct debit for the ne t month to new amount and started paying my new debts more or less straight away as they have now showed up in my online dmp account. no problems since.. well its only been a month lol
  • But that's a good start. I sent them a secure message with a full list. Outlined what extra I could pay (was an extra £250) and then asked if they could assist.

The extra money will help clear this new debt quickly and then can be used with existing creditors. Hopefully it sounds a good deal for SC and I get accepted.
  • Still no update from SC. This could be a bad sign!

Why don't you bite the bullet and give them a ring, save all the waiting.
