Because in the letters I sent I asked for overdraft interest - will I have to resend the letters before doing MCOL?

Interest charges from the 9th march 06 - 11th june 07 were the reasons why I went in to an unauthorized o/d.

Can anyone answer because I need to know if I have to resend a letter stating the correct amount.

Unfortunately we can not recover overdraft interest under the Unfair contract terms in consumer contracts regs that every one is going on about. What you are claiminmg is the interest you have lost on the charges that the banks have taken from your account, and the court sets a standard percentage rate which MSE web can calculate for you.
Getting this wrong at this stage is not a massive problem but you would be well advised to correct it as soon as you can.
Technically it is for the Banks to contest any amount we claim, in my two claims they never contested the amounts at all and I even amended the total figures right up to about four weeks before we were due in court, two weeks before they settled in full!

As long as it is corrected by the time you lodge your claim with the court and in time for the Banks to know what they have to pay you it should not be a problem.
