Your honesty is admirable.
You could try to find the old insurer and offer to return the replacement ring - at least mil now has the original that was of sentimental value.
But honestly this will be "case closed" with the insurer and the claim is so old it's not going to affect future insurance.
If it was a year or 2 ago I would say "yes" tell the insurer, but unless your conscience is giving you sleepless nights then maybe just forget about it.0
