Give Everest a miss

I am in the process of searching for quotations for a new conservatory and front door, thinking that Everest were the market leaders I arranged for a rep to call. On the day of the arranged appointment the rep was late, bearing in mind that i had to re arrange most of my week to accommodate this appointment I contacted Everest who informed me that they would chase it up and get right back to me. a further 45 mins with no contact i again contacted Everest (having once again waited several minutes in the line), only to be told that a message had been left with the rep, by this time the rep was nearly 2 hour late and I had no wish to waste any more of my day I told them to cancel the appointment.
I have since filled in one of their complaint forms (twice) and am still awaiting a response, I won't hold my breath.
I would never recommend this company to anyone, for a supposedly nationally recognised company i am amazed that they can treat people with such contempt.

Don't think you can just pick out Everest , how many of us have taken the day off work to wait for the plumber; electrician; bricklayer or washing machine that was suppose to be delivered.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Think yourself lucky, I had them turn up to give me a quote for new windows and they stayed for more than two hours, until I had to literally walk them to the door. It didn't matter that I had another company coming the next day, the chap wanted me to sign the contract to 'fix the price' then and there. (The other company were more than a thousand quid cheaper.)
He was also oblivious to the fact that his security pitch was wasted on someone who lived on the 5th floor, with sheer walls, and would cheerfully hand the TV to anyone who managed to climb that far up to break in.
Lucky escape, to be honest. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Their reps are self employed commission only. If the guy was looking to tie down a deal at his previous appointment, he is not going to walk away until it is all signed and sealed.0 -
Don't think you'll get off their mailing list anytime soon either.
When I needed new DG I made the mistake of getting SafeStyle round. After a two hour high pressure sales spiel, I was only saved by the fact I wanted a porch and they don't do porches.
I got my new DG with a local company, had recommendations from 2 neighbours and a friend. The rep who was also the owner didn't use any high pressure tactics and was really relaxed about the whole thing. He got the order and him and his team did a wonderful job. There were a couple of things that needed attention afterwards and he came back personally and saw to them.0
