Store Card passed to unknown DCA

Hey,

A few years back I took out a store card with House of Frazer / Santander... I got into some financial difficulty later and it eventually went in to arrears and was passed to Debt Collection Agency. I ignored numerous letters from them for a long time and now I want to start clearing off the debt the only thing is I dont know what DCA has taken over the balance now. I've contact the DCA on letters that I have got but they say they are not dealing with it anymore and can't gave me information on where the details have been sent to. How can I find this information????

Thanks
Em

    How long ago was this?

If over 6 years forget about it - it should no longer appear on your credit reports.

As above over 6 years with no payment then its gone off your file. They can not take you to court for payment etc.

Then can beg but you can tell them to go away you wont be paying.

Get a copy of your credit file. Costs £2. Dont get a credit score i will give you that for free.

Your score is..... 5 choc chip cookies. See just as useful as the ones the agencies try to sell you.
