Tesco new recipe peanut butter. Yuk.

Morrisons Value peanut butter (same 62p price) is quite nice - seems very similar to full price PB. 87% peanuts and a glass jar... but it does include Palm Oil.
I used to have Asda Value PB and that went the way of Tesco's - new recipe in a plastic jar. It's a slightly grey colour, and somewhat greasy - I don't buy it any more.0 -
I prefer glass jars. They seem cleaner and less likely to taint the product. Much easier to recycle as well. Presumably plastic jars are cheaper. I would pay an extra few pence for a glass jar.0

I agree - but I suppose it's a question of what you're used to.
Much of the rest of the World enjoys peanut butter (and similar products) from plastic jars, and have done for years.0
