Shock Letter!

I'm more of a lurker on here but thought i'd share my good news but it's also created some questions about banks for me - hope you can help.
I got a letter the other day from MBNA awarding me nearly £3000 on mis-sold PPI. TOTAL SHOCK as they had rejected my claim in 2012. I claimed basedon an online applicaton with preticked box for PPI (something i've never needed due to my work).
As i shared my good news with myhusband he grumbled about his rejected claim from BOS over a year ago, a claim he didn't pursue further with the FO.
When we looked out the old paper work we discovered it was not his signature authorising PPI, something he over looked, but the writing looks similar to the lady who filled in the application.
Could we reopen the claim based on this discovery or is it too late?

Are you saying someone forged his signature or that someone else signed for it?
If it's the latter, he's too late for the FOS.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
