What reasons do you have? The link takes you to a logged out page.0

I PAYED THIS COMPANY £49 IN THE BEGINNING OF MAY TO RECLAIM MY BANK CHARGES ON MY BEHALF BUT MY BANK SAYS THEY HAVE RECEIVED NO LETTERS FROM THIS COMPANY BUT THEY SAY THEY SENT THEM AND HE HAS ALL MY DETAILS INCLUDING MY BANK DETAILS try it again0

Martin refers to companies like that as "vultures". None of what they do (or in your case don't do), you couldn't do quicker, easier and cheaper yourself. I am surprised though that they wanted money up front - don't they usually ask for a percentage for your reclaimed charges once you get them?Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH0 -
they say they take 16% at the end they also told me they were sending letters to rachel hinchcliffe at halifax but anyone can get her name of the internet but im worried cos he has all my details0

what do you suggest that i do then with this company0

I have removed the website from the above post. I checked and its newly registered in April only so hardly a well established company.
You need to write to the bank and tell them that they are not acting on your behalf and you don't want them divulging any of your personal details to them.
You will also need to cancel your arrangement with the company and ask for any paperwork about you is returned.
Then I suggest you read Martin's article and the Reclaim Help Thread and start your claim yourself.0 -
Why did you delete my contribution to this thread it explained that the company in question is no longer taking business and is not authorised to handle claims and is operating illegally I appreciate that you don't want people touting for business by posting but surely it is better to have warnings in place about illegal outfits. How many people were saved from dealing with Vickers Anderson by reading warnings on sites like this.
and since you deleted my previous posting, why does the original article only point to expensive vulture companies when in the comment about the site, Martin says that they post the details of the cheapest even if it doesnt benefit the site
OP if you didnt read the original response then PM me0 -
On reviewing this thread I also noted that you have recommended that the original poster cancel the contract. Any such advice, regardless of how cr*p the service is leaves the op open to potentially being sued for the fee. However unfair this is it leaves the consumer open to the process of court and the hassle it entails. A contract is not a bag of apples you take back to sainsburys it is a legally binding document0
