Hi all about 6 weeks ago I had the bailiffs knocking on the door to enforce a 'High Court writ' I paid it there and then £1400 for a £752 ccj I hadn't heard anything about this, no letters at all, anyway Im not disputing i owed it as Ive looked at my experian file and their are two on there.

I have 1 for the £752 dated 29/09/2009
and another for £302 dated 07/10/2008

I paid the one through the bailiffs and they assure me (Marstons) that they are sending the 'paper work' and the other one I tracked down yesterday and paid it in full the lovely lady at suffolk water said she will let the port know and get it sent off for me.

My question is now they are paid I will get them 'satisfied' but will they come off my report after 6 years from now or will it be the case that the first one will disappear on the 29/09/2015 and the second one will it disappear on the 7/10/2014?

All other debts are cleared and are fine just these ccjs taking a hold

Any help would be appreciated.

They will not drop off your credit report until 6 years from the judgement date. So 29/09/2015 and 7/10/2014. :(

  • That's what I wanted to know it better than waiting 6 years from now so I'm happy with that :) Thanks!
  • They should be marked as satisfied and not active. The courts dealing with the debts need proof that they are satisfied and then they electronically inform the registry who then update the CRA's with experian that seems to be almost overnight too
