Default sold on can this go on for ever

Noticed that I have a default against me from an old lloyds account, now the last I knew of this was about 5 years ago but this account which looks like it's been sold on is only 4 years old.
So question is can this be sold on again and the clock reset again

me too but mine is even newer, the original debt was from 2005/6, but was sold on and reset in 20130
