downside of 5p listing day

Hmm, I just remembered why I don't like the ebay offer days, ebay is running at a real crawl at the moment, I can barely navigate the pages at all and have just lost out placing a last minute bid as the page wouldn't reload quick enough.
The 5p listing day was 10 days ago so most sellers would have put their items up for the full 10 days hence a lot of traffic today on ebay. This always happens on Sundays after a cheap listing day.

I'm really annoyed too. I was trying to bid on a really nice necklace and ebay had signed me out (for reasons best known only to ebay!) and it took so long for the page to reload after signing in (2 whole minutes!!!!) that I missed the item.
So not only did I miss out on the necklace, but the seller got less for it than they could have if ebay had been quicker.0 -
an auction sniper would have helped with this problem0

i know how you feel, i listed some things for a day auction last week completely forgetting about the 5p listing day and it has been so slow. e-mails are taking forever to get through and so are payments.0

I've sold things, received payment and wrapped them already yet am still waiting for the ebay end of auction emails!

yep im still waiting for a few of those as well. I also found that up to 30 mins after auction ended in my ebay it was still saying 6 things were still selling, no they werent they had sold and been paid for :rolleyes:0
