Hi all I am in the process of buying a house with a shower in a cubicle , we have a shower already its one of those electric ones with a box on the wall (if you know what I mean) like a triton.
The new house has a horizontal chrome bar with taps either end, no box what sort of shower is this and how does it work ?? Thanks in advance

The water comes directly from the boiler.0

Or is pumped from cylinder.. there are many options really - but basically it's not an elctric shower so get's it's hot water fed to it somehow, either as mojo says direct from combi boiler or a source of stored heated water.
