New Car 1st Tax renewal query?

Hi all,

Bit miffed with my first post and can't seem to find any help online.

Bought a new car last year and was sold as 119gm/kg emissions, in the tax band at £30. My renewal has just come through, stating that my emissions are 129gm/kg and now in the £110 band!

What should I be doing to confirm what tax band I should be in or am I forced to pay the next band up?

What's on your V5C? There's your confirmation.
Section 4 Vehicle Details. Look for "V.7" between cylinder capacity and type of fuel.

You may do, as for your particular car, then even within the same models and engine the emissions can vary.

Is it automatic they are oftern in the next band up.
